The biggest sporting event in the world is just around the corner. FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in Qatar. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men’s association football championship contested by the national teams of FIFA member associations. It is scheduled to be held in Qatar in 2022. It will be the first World Cup in the Arab world and the first in a Muslim-majority country.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 matches will be held in eight stadiums in Qatar: Lusail Iconic Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, Ras Abu Oud Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Education City Stadium, Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Janub Stadium in the group stage. It will be played from 21 November to 2 December. The knockout phase will begin with the Round of 16 between December 3-6.

The quarter-finals will be played on December 9 and 10, and the semi-finals on December 13 and 14. The play-off for third place will take place on December 17, a day before the final. The tournament will end up involving 32 teams, with an increase to the 48 teams scheduled for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
